Sep 13, 2011 08:12 PM

Sometimes your instructions will include having to CAST ON AT THE BEGINNING OF A ROW.

It's not difficult and here's how to do it.

Starting at the beginning edge of the work CAST ON as many stitches as you need in the usual way of casting on.

Knit each newly cast on stitch.

When you get to the original stitches on your needle just continue knitting, incorporating the new stitches along with the old until you get to the end of the row.

Turn the work around and purl back.
