Most of the time, when you are directed to 'slip a stitch', it will be on a knit row. But there are exceptions and there will be times when you will need to know how to slip a stitch on a purl row.
It's very easy and here's how to do it.
- Put the right needle into the stitch on the left needle, as if to purl.
- Slip the stitch off the left needle onto the right needle, but do not purl the stitch.
- Continue purling as normal.
